What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All County's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, All County is not obligated to assist in the transfer of a franchise. The FDD states that if a franchisee intends to transfer 100% ownership of the business to a third party, the franchisee may request assistance from All County. However, All County has the sole discretion to decide whether or not to provide such assistance.
If All County agrees to assist with the transfer, the franchisee must pay a "Transfer Assistance Fee" of $25,000. This fee is due when the franchisee engages All County to help with the transfer.
This arrangement means that franchisees cannot rely on All County to facilitate the sale of their business. Franchisees should be prepared to handle the transfer process independently or seek assistance from other sources if All County declines to provide assistance. The high cost of the Transfer Assistance Fee ($25,000) may also be a significant factor for franchisees to consider when deciding whether to request All County's help.
