What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All County's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the advertising fee that franchisees are required to contribute to the Advertising Fund is called the "Ad Fee". Each accounting period, franchisees must contribute the greater of one percent of gross revenue or $195 to the Advertising Fund. This fee is payable monthly, at the same time and manner as the royalty fees.
The Advertising Fund is controlled by All County and is used for advertising, marketing, and promotional activities to promote All County businesses. All County has sole discretion over the creative concepts, materials, endorsements, geographic markets, and media placement used in advertising programs. They may handle the marketing and advertising themselves or outsource it to an agency.
The Advertising Fund can cover costs related to advertising campaigns (radio, TV, print), website development, direct mail, marketing surveys, public relations, promotional items, and marketing materials. All County will provide franchisees with samples of advertising and marketing materials at no additional cost when deemed appropriate. Multiple copies of these materials are available at the franchisee's expense, covering production, shipping, handling, and storage charges.
It is important for prospective franchisees to understand that All County has the right to modify or terminate the Advertising Fund with 30 days' notice. If the fund is terminated, any unspent money will be distributed to franchisees based on their contributions over the prior three months. Franchisees should also be aware that they are required to spend a minimum amount on local advertising and promotion, separate from the Ad Fee, and must provide proof of these expenditures.
