What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All County's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, All County generally will not own the franchisee's business premises or lease the business premises to the franchisee. The franchisee is responsible for conforming the business premises to local ordinances and building codes. All County will not provide direct assistance in obtaining required permits or with constructing, remodeling, or decorating the business premises. However, All County will provide written specifications as to how the business premises must appear.
All County's approval of the franchisee's business office will be based on proximity to existing franchise locations, lease terms, suitability of the location for business activities, zoning, parking, and the general neighborhood. All County will provide a decision on the acceptability of a proposed site within 7 days of receiving all required information. A proposed site must be approved within 120 days after signing the Franchise Agreement, or All County may terminate the agreement and keep the initial franchise fee, unless they agree to extend the time to find a suitable site.
This arrangement is typical in the franchise industry, where franchisees usually bear the responsibility for securing and maintaining their business locations. Prospective All County franchisees should factor in the costs associated with leasing or purchasing a suitable location, as well as any necessary renovations or improvements to meet All County's specifications and local regulations.
