14. MARKS.
All provisions of this Agreement applicable to the Marks apply to any additional proprietary trademarks and service marks and commercial symbols that we authorize you to use.
- 14.1. Ownership of Marks. You do not have an ownership interest in the Marks used with the Business.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All County's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees do not acquire ownership of the Marks used in their All County business. Specifically, the franchise agreement grants franchisees a license to use All County's Marks and System for the duration of the franchise term, but explicitly states that ownership remains with All County. This is a common arrangement in franchising, where the franchisor retains control over its brand identity and trademarks.
This means that while franchisees can use the All County Marks to operate their business, they cannot claim any ownership rights to them. This includes the "ALL COUNTY" mark itself, as well as any other trade names, trademarks, service marks, and trade dress associated with All County businesses. Franchisees must adhere to All County's standards for using these Marks in advertising, signage, and other materials.
Upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, franchisees must discontinue all use of the All County Marks. They are prohibited from identifying themselves as a current or former All County franchisee and must remove all materials bearing the Marks from their business. This ensures that the All County brand remains under the exclusive control of the franchisor and prevents any potential confusion or misuse of the Marks after the franchise relationship ends.
