What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to All County's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Location' refers to the physical site where the franchisee operates the All County business. This is significant because, upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, All County has the option to purchase the business, including the leasehold rights to this specific location.
The franchisee is responsible for finding a suitable location within their designated territory, subject to All County's approval. This approval extends to the terms of any lease, sublease, or purchase contract for the location. The franchisee must operate the business from this approved location within 90 days of the franchise agreement's effective date, unless a written extension is granted by All County.
All County provides mandatory specifications and layouts for the business location, covering aspects such as dimensions, design, image, interior layout, decor, fixtures, equipment, signs, furnishings, and color scheme. The franchisee is responsible for developing the business location at their own expense, including securing financing, obtaining permits and licenses, and purchasing or leasing necessary fixtures, furniture, equipment, and signs. This ensures that the business aligns with All County's standards and system requirements.
