What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 All County Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees and their transferring owners are restricted from representing themselves as current or former All County businesses, licensees, or franchisees, except for other All County businesses they currently own and operate. This restriction includes the use of any All County marks, imitations thereof, or any commercial symbols that suggest a connection with All County. This obligation extends to preventing the use of any trade name, trademark, or service mark that implies an association with All County for any purpose.
This provision ensures that franchisees do not misrepresent their affiliation with All County after they cease to be part of the franchise system. It protects All County's brand identity and prevents potential confusion among customers. By preventing the use of All County's marks and any similar indicia, the clause aims to maintain the integrity and reputation of the All County brand.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that upon termination or transfer of the franchise, they must completely disassociate themselves from the All County brand, except for any other active All County franchises they may own. This includes refraining from using any branding, logos, or other identifying marks associated with All County in any subsequent business ventures. This is a standard clause in franchise agreements designed to protect the franchisor's brand and prevent unfair competition from former franchisees.
