For Cooperatives only, each Aira Fitness Business in the Cooperative will have one vote. Each Cooperative will be required to adopt governing bylaws that meet our approval. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Aira Fitness Franchise Disclosure Document, if a Cooperative is formed for local or regional advertising, each Aira Fitness Business within that cooperative has one vote. The Cooperative is controlled by a majority vote of its members.
The document specifies that the bylaws adopted by the Cooperative must be approved by Aira Fitness and cannot modify the one-vote-per-business structure. This ensures that each franchisee has an equal say in the Cooperative's decisions, regardless of the size or revenue of their individual Aira Fitness Business.
This voting structure aims to provide a fair and balanced approach to decision-making within the Cooperative, preventing larger or more successful franchises from dominating the advertising strategies. However, franchisees should be aware that Aira Fitness retains the right to approve the Cooperative's bylaws and promotional and advertising materials, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy.
