What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are specific circumstances under which Aira Fitness may require additional training for the Principal and General Managers of a franchise location. If a franchisee fails to maintain a minimum membership requirement, Aira Fitness has the right to mandate additional training programs for the Principal and General Managers. This condition is triggered if, during the second year of operation and thereafter, the franchisee does not maintain at least 150 members for two consecutive months.
In the event that the minimum membership requirement is not met, Aira Fitness has two options: require the Principal and General Managers to attend additional training programs or provide on-site assistance and consultation at the franchisee's expense. If Aira Fitness chooses to provide additional training, assistance, or consultation, the franchisee is responsible for covering all associated costs and expenses.
This requirement highlights the importance of maintaining a sufficient membership base for the financial health of the Aira Fitness franchise. It also demonstrates Aira Fitness's commitment to ensuring that franchisees meet certain performance standards and have access to additional support and training when needed. Prospective franchisees should be aware of this condition and factor it into their business planning and operational strategies.
