What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not allowed to make unauthorized alterations during the construction of their Aira Fitness Business. Franchisees must submit basic plans and specifications that align with Aira Fitness's general design and layout requirements.

Specifically, the franchisee must use only approved equipment, fixtures, furniture, and signs. The installation and decorating of the Aira Fitness Business must be completed in full compliance with the approved plans and specifications, as well as all applicable ordinances, building codes, and permit requirements. Any changes to the plans or any modifications to the premises, interior or exterior décor, equipment, or signage made after the initial plan's approval require Aira Fitness's prior written consent.

This requirement ensures that all Aira Fitness locations maintain a consistent brand image and meet the franchisor's standards. Failing to adhere to these construction and alteration guidelines could result in non-compliance and potential penalties from Aira Fitness. Therefore, it is crucial for prospective franchisees to follow the approved plans and obtain written consent for any desired changes to avoid violating the franchise agreement.
