What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there is no separate training fee payable to the franchisor for initial training. The cost of initial training is included in the initial franchise fee. However, the franchisee must cover the expenses, including wages, for their general manager to attend the training program.
While in-person training is not required, if the franchisee or their general manager chooses to visit Aira Fitness in McHenry, Illinois, they will be responsible for all travel costs. The amount spent on training-related expenses will depend on the general manager's hourly wage and the time it takes them to complete the online training.
Therefore, while Aira Fitness does not charge a separate training fee, franchisees should budget for the general manager's wages during training and any potential travel expenses if they opt for in-person training. This is a fairly common arrangement in the franchise industry, where the franchisor provides the training program, but the franchisee bears the cost of their personnel's time and travel.
