Aira_Fitness Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
You must use in the operation of the Aira Fitness Business only the proprietary or non- proprietary equipment that we specify in the Manual (as defined in Section 6.H) or other written directives. You must purchase or lease an initial fitness equipment package ("Initial Fitness Equipment Package") from a supplier approved by us that may include us, our affiliate or a third party. You must purchase or lease all other equipment we designate (including the security and door access system, signage, and software) from a supplier approved by us that may include us, our affiliate, or a third party. If you will be operating your Aira Fitness Business from a Pod, you must purchase or lease the Pod ("Pod Package") from a supplier approved by us that may include us, our affiliate, or a third party. Prior to opening your Aira Fitness Business to the public, you may seek our approval to add additional equipment at your location. We may approve or disapprove your request to add additional equipment in our sole judgment. You will not be allowed to open or operate the Aira Fitness Business with any unapproved equipment. Replacement fitness equipment must be purchased or leased from approved suppliers.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must either purchase or lease an Initial Fitness Equipment Package to operate an Aira Fitness Business. This package must be obtained from a supplier approved by Aira Fitness, which may include Aira Fitness itself, its affiliates, or a third party.
In addition to the Initial Fitness Equipment Package, franchisees are also required to purchase or lease other designated equipment, such as security and door access systems, signage, and software, from an Aira Fitness-approved supplier. If the Aira Fitness Business operates from a Pod, the franchisee must also purchase or lease the Pod Package from an approved supplier. Franchisees need to seek approval from Aira Fitness before adding any additional equipment to their location, and Aira Fitness has the sole discretion to approve or disapprove such requests. The Aira Fitness Business cannot be opened or operated with any unapproved equipment.
Replacement fitness equipment must also be sourced from approved suppliers. Furthermore, Aira Fitness requires franchisees to modernize their Aira Fitness Business periodically, including replacing all fitness equipment within three years of the agreement's effective date. Franchisees have the option to either purchase or lease the fitness equipment, but they must use designated or approved suppliers for replacement equipment. If purchasing, Aira Fitness has the right of first refusal to buy the old equipment. If leasing, the old equipment must be returned to the designated or approved supplier, which could be Aira Fitness or its affiliate, and a new lease or purchase agreement must be entered into for replacement equipment with an approved supplier.
