What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Aira Fitness may require franchisees to attend additional training programs. The FDD states that Aira Fitness may periodically offer and require franchisees to attend additional training programs, for which Aira Fitness may charge a fee. Franchisees are responsible for travel, living expenses, and supply costs for themselves and their employees when attending these programs.
Furthermore, if a franchisee designates a new general manager after the initial training, that new general manager must complete the training to Aira Fitness's satisfaction, and Aira Fitness reserves the right to charge a fee for this training. Aira Fitness may also require the franchisee (or owner, if the franchisee is an entity), the general manager, or other designated employees to attend conferences, meetings, conventions, or seminars related to operation, training, management, sales, or marketing, at the franchisee's expense. Aira Fitness also reserves the right to charge a fee for attending these events.
Notably, if a franchisee fails to attend Aira Fitness's annual convention, Aira Fitness reserves the right to charge a nonattendance fee of $500. This highlights the importance Aira Fitness places on ongoing training and participation in company events. Prospective franchisees should factor in these potential additional training costs and attendance requirements when evaluating the Aira Fitness franchise opportunity.
