What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Development Fee is paid by a developer for the right to develop multiple Aira Fitness centers. The Development Fee is $6,000 multiplied by the number of additional Aira Fitness centers the developer plans to open, beyond the one they are opening concurrently with the Development Agreement.

The Development Fee serves as consideration for the Development Agreement itself. This means Aira Fitness receives the fee in exchange for granting the developer the rights and obligations outlined in the agreement, such as the exclusive right to develop Aira Fitness locations within a specific territory and timeframe.

Importantly, the Development Fee is fully earned by Aira Fitness upon the execution of the Development Agreement and is non-refundable. However, Aira Fitness will credit $6,000 of the Development Fee towards the Initial Franchise Fee for each additional Aira Fitness center opened under the Development Agreement. This provides a financial incentive for the developer to proceed with opening the additional locations as planned.
