What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Aira Fitness will provide franchisees with a list of approved suppliers and approved supplies before the franchisee opens their Aira Fitness business. This list is referenced in Section 6D of the Franchise Agreement. This is a common practice in franchising, as it helps to maintain brand consistency and quality control across all franchise locations.
Having an approved supplier list benefits franchisees by streamlining the sourcing process. Instead of independently researching and vetting suppliers, franchisees can rely on Aira Fitness's pre-approved vendors. This can save time and effort, and potentially ensure better pricing due to the franchisor's bulk purchasing power or negotiated rates.
However, franchisees should carefully review the approved supplier list and understand any restrictions or requirements associated with it. For example, franchisees may be required to purchase all supplies from approved suppliers, or they may have the option to use alternative suppliers that meet Aira Fitness's standards. It is important to understand the implications of these requirements and how they may affect the franchisee's costs and operations.
