What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Principal of an Aira Fitness franchise can also be the General Manager. The FDD specifies that the Aira Fitness Business must be managed and supervised by a General Manager, who may be the Principal.
The Principal must be an approved individual who maintains a majority ownership in the franchisee entity. The Principal is required to participate in and complete the Initial Training Program and must have the authority to make decisions and bind the franchisee in agreements with Aira Fitness. The Principal is also expected to stay informed about Aira Fitness's organizational plans and initiatives.
The General Manager is responsible for all day-to-day operational decisions affecting the Franchised Business and must exert full-time effort in the development and operation of the franchise. The General Manager must also attend and complete the Initial Training Program and other required training programs. The General Manager must have the authority to make all day-to-day operations decisions and may not engage in other business activities that interfere with their role as General Manager. Therefore, if the Principal meets these requirements and can fulfill the General Manager's responsibilities, they can hold both positions.
