Aira_Fitness Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

You must use in the operation of the Aira Fitness Business only the proprietary or non- proprietary equipment that we specify in the Manual (as defined in Section 6.H) or other written directives. You must purchase or lease an initial fitness equipment package ("Initial Fitness Equipment Package") from a supplier approved by us that may include us, our affiliate or a third party. You must purchase or lease all other equipment we designate (including the security and door access system, signage, and software) from a supplier approved by us that may include us, our affiliate, or a third party. If you will be operating your Aira Fitness Business from a Pod, you must purchase or lease the Pod ("Pod Package") from a supplier approved by us that may include us, our affiliate, or a third party. Prior to opening your Aira Fitness Business to the public, you may seek our approval to add additional equipment at your location. We may approve or disapprove your request to add additional equipment in our sole judgment. You will not be allowed to open or operate the Aira Fitness Business with any unapproved equipment. Replacement fitness equipment must be purchased or leased from approved suppliers.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

Based on the 2025 Aira Fitness Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must use only the proprietary or non-proprietary equipment that Aira Fitness specifies in its manual or other written directives. Franchisees are required to purchase or lease an initial fitness equipment package from an Aira Fitness-approved supplier, which may include Aira Fitness, its affiliates, or a third party. All other designated equipment, including security and door access systems, signage, and software, must also be sourced from approved suppliers. If operating from a Pod, the franchisee must purchase or lease the Pod package from an approved supplier as well.

Before opening, franchisees can seek approval to add additional equipment, but Aira Fitness retains the sole discretion to approve or disapprove such requests. Opening or operating with unapproved equipment is strictly prohibited. Replacement fitness equipment must also be sourced from approved suppliers. This ensures uniformity and compliance with Aira Fitness's standards.

While the FDD specifies that franchisees must use only approved equipment, it does not explicitly state whether or how that equipment must be marked or identified as belonging to Aira Fitness. For example, the FDD does not state whether franchisees must affix Aira Fitness logos or identifying marks to the equipment. A prospective franchisee should clarify with Aira Fitness what specific marking or identification requirements exist for the equipment used in their Aira Fitness Business.
