What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering all shipping and delivery charges associated with the Aira Fitness Pod. This includes the initial delivery of the Pod to the franchisee's location.
Furthermore, if the franchisee's lease expires or is terminated and they do not purchase the Pod or renew the lease, they are responsible for the costs and risks associated with returning the Pod to a location designated by Aira Fitness's affiliate. The franchisee must assemble the Pod, prepare it for shipment, and ensure it is returned in good condition, with only ordinary wear and tear excepted.
In addition to transportation costs, the franchisee is also responsible for providing suitable storage space for the Pod for up to 90 days, free of charge, if requested by Aira Fitness's affiliate, while also assuming liability for public liability and physical damage exposures during this storage period. This means that franchisees need to factor in potential shipping and return expenses, as well as possible storage costs and liabilities, when considering the financial implications of leasing an Aira Fitness Pod.
