What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must meet a minimum membership requirement starting one year after opening their business. This requirement mandates that the franchise maintain at least 150 members at all times after this initial year.

If an Aira Fitness franchise fails to maintain the minimum of 150 members for two consecutive months during its second year or any subsequent year of operation, Aira Fitness has the right to intervene. The franchisor may require the franchisee's Principal and General Managers to attend additional training programs. Alternatively, Aira Fitness may opt to provide on-site assistance and consultation to help the franchise improve its membership numbers.

It's important to note that if Aira Fitness provides additional training, assistance, or consultation, the franchisee is responsible for covering all associated costs and expenses. This financial responsibility underscores the importance of proactively managing membership levels to avoid falling below the minimum threshold and incurring additional expenses for remedial support from the franchisor.
