What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, state-specific addenda to the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) are included as Exhibit J. If you are in a franchise registration state that requires an addendum to the FDD, it will be located after the Exhibit J page.
Several examples of state-specific addenda are provided for Hawaii and Illinois. These addenda modify specific sections of the Aira Fitness agreement to comply with state laws. For example, the Illinois addendum addresses the deferral of initial franchise fees due to the franchisor's financial condition and clarifies rights upon termination and non-renewal as per the Illinois Franchise Disclosure Act.
These addenda ensure that the Aira Fitness franchise agreement complies with local regulations, providing franchisees with specific protections and modifications based on their state's franchise laws. Prospective franchisees should carefully review any state-specific addenda applicable to their location to understand their rights and obligations fully.
