What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, after the initial plans for the Aira Fitness business have been approved, any changes, replacements, reconstructions, additions, or modifications to the premises, interior or exterior décor or image, equipment, or signage require the franchisor's prior written consent. This applies whether the changes are requested by the franchisee, the franchisor, or a third party.
This means that if a franchisee wants to add new equipment to their Aira Fitness location after the initial setup, they must first obtain written approval from Aira Fitness. This requirement ensures that all Aira Fitness locations maintain a consistent brand image and meet the franchisor's standards.
It is the franchisee's responsibility to ensure compliance with these requirements. Failure to obtain prior written consent for any changes could result in a breach of the franchise agreement. Franchisees should maintain open communication with Aira Fitness regarding any desired modifications to avoid potential issues.
