All Aira Fitness franchisees are required to pay the National Marketing Fee, provided the amount of the National Marketing Fee may vary depending on the National Marketing Fee amount in effect at the time the franchisee signed a franchise agreement. Company or affiliate owned Aira Fitness Businesses will not contribute to the Marketing Fund.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all franchisees are required to pay the National Marketing Fee. However, the specific amount may vary based on what was in effect when the franchisee signed their franchise agreement. Company-owned or affiliate-owned Aira Fitness businesses are exempt from contributing to the National Marketing Fund.
The National Marketing Fund is intended to be used for advertising and promoting Aira Fitness businesses within the system. The FDD specifies that the funds can be used for national, regional, and local advertising, marketing, promotional, and public relations campaigns. This includes various forms of advertising such as print, radio, television, internet, and more. The funds may also cover website activities, market intelligence, creative development, sponsorships, and member loyalty programs.
It's important to note that Aira Fitness has the right to establish local marketing funds or advertising cooperatives in designated areas with at least two Aira Fitness franchises. If such a fund or cooperative is established in a franchisee's market, participation and contribution are mandatory, and these contributions are in addition to the National Marketing Fee. The monthly contributions to these local funds are capped at $200, subject to Consumer Price Index adjustments, unless a 2/3 vote of the cooperative members approves a higher fee.
