What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is required to provide a copy of the Pod maintenance contract to the Franchisor's Affiliate. Specifically, the franchisee must enter into and maintain any maintenance contracts required by the manufacturer of the Pod for the term of each Schedule.

This requirement ensures that the Pod, which is a key component of the Aira Fitness business, is properly maintained and in good working order. The franchisee bears the sole cost and expense of this maintenance. By providing a copy of the maintenance contract to the Franchisor's Affiliate, Aira Fitness can verify that the franchisee is fulfilling their maintenance obligations and adhering to the manufacturer's requirements.

Furthermore, if the franchisee chooses to enter into a maintenance contract with a party other than the Pod manufacturer, Aira Fitness requires the franchisee to have the manufacturer recertify the Pod at the expiration of the lease or any renewals. The lease term continues under the same conditions until this recertification is obtained. This stipulation protects the integrity and quality of the Aira Fitness equipment and service.
