What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Aira Fitness Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must comply with Aira Fitness System standards and operating procedures, which include specifications for the decibel levels of music. This requirement is part of a broader set of standards related to the operation and promotion of the Aira Fitness Business.
The franchise agreement specifies that franchisees must adhere to standards concerning various aspects of the business, such as sales and marketing procedures, advertising programs, member loyalty programs, the layout and décor of the fitness center, employee appearance, and the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility. The standards also extend to the use of audio and video equipment, including the type and decibel levels of music and television broadcasts.
For a prospective Aira Fitness franchisee, this means they must follow the franchisor's guidelines on music decibel levels to maintain consistency and brand standards across all locations. Failure to comply with these standards could result in a breach of the franchise agreement. Franchisees should ensure they understand and can adhere to all specified standards, as these are subject to change and are incorporated into the agreement through manuals, bulletins, and other written notices.
