What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, while there is no separate training fee payable to Aira Fitness for the initial training program, as it is included in the Initial Franchise Fee, you, as the franchisee, are responsible for certain expenses related to your general manager's training. Specifically, you must arrange and pay for your general manager's wages while they attend the training program. The amount you spend on wages will depend on the general manager's hourly wage and how long it takes them to complete the online training.
Additionally, while in-person training is not required, if you or your general manager choose to visit Aira Fitness in McHenry, Illinois, you will be responsible for all travel costs associated with that visit. This includes transportation, lodging, and any other expenses incurred during the trip.
Prospective franchisees should consider these costs when budgeting for their initial investment. It's important to factor in the general manager's wage rate and the estimated time for training completion to accurately project these expenses. If considering in-person training, travel costs should also be taken into account.
