What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Aira Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the National Marketing Fee will be deposited into the Marketing Fund, which is part of Aira Fitness's general account. Aira Fitness plans to establish a National Marketing Fund in the future, and once established, franchisees will be required to pay a monthly National Marketing Fee.

The funds within the Marketing Fund can be used for various advertising, marketing, promotional, and public relations campaigns at the national, regional, and local levels. These activities include print, point-of-sale, radio, television, internet, electronic, out-of-home, and billboard advertising. The funds may also cover e-commerce website activities, website updates, market intelligence, member interviews, creative development services, sponsorships, contests, member loyalty programs, and engagement with advertising agencies and public relations firms.

Aira Fitness retains control over how the monies in the Marketing Fund are used and may be reimbursed for reasonable administrative costs, salaries, and overhead incurred while administering or providing services to the fund. It's important to note that Aira Fitness is not obligated to spend any specific amount of the Marketing Fund in the area where a franchisee's Aira Fitness Business is located. Any unspent National Marketing Fees will be carried over for future use. This structure is fairly typical in franchising, where marketing funds are centrally managed to benefit the brand as a whole, though franchisees often desire more local control.
