What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Aira Fitness Franchise Disclosure Document, if the Authorized Location for the Aira Fitness Business is not known when the Franchise Agreement is signed, the franchisee must acquire an acceptable site within ninety (90) days from the Effective Date of the Agreement. Upon acquiring an acceptable site, the franchisee authorizes Aira Fitness to insert the Authorized Location on the Summary Page of the agreement.
This requirement means a prospective Aira Fitness franchisee needs to be prepared to quickly identify and secure a location that meets Aira Fitness's criteria within a relatively short timeframe after signing the agreement. The franchisee must also ensure the site is within the Preliminary Designated Area specified in the Summary Page, as detailed in Section 5.A of the FDD.
It is important to note that failure to secure an acceptable site within the 90-day period could potentially lead to a breach of the Franchise Agreement. Therefore, a prospective franchisee should proactively begin researching and identifying potential locations even before signing the agreement to ensure they can meet this deadline. This also highlights the importance of understanding Aira Fitness's site selection criteria and the Preliminary Designated Area before committing to the franchise.
