What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Afuri Ramen Dumpling Franchise Disclosure Document, prior to opening their franchise, Afuri Ramen Dumpling will provide franchisees with a list of approved or designated suppliers. This is part of the franchisor's pre-opening obligations to the franchisee.
However, franchisees have the autonomy to select suppliers for sound and security systems, provided they meet Afuri Ramen Dumpling's minimum specifications. The estimated cost for the software and hardware for these systems ranges from $6,000 to $15,000. Additionally, franchisees must use an approved supplier for merchant processing to accept credit and debit card payments.
Afuri Ramen Dumpling also retains the right to inspect the facilities of the franchisee's manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors. If these entities fail to meet Afuri Ramen Dumpling's standards, both the franchisee and the relevant supplier will be notified in writing. This ensures that all suppliers meet the brand's quality and operational standards.
