- 2.5.3 Discount Programs. We may develop and market special discount or free coupon programs. You will have the right, but not the obligation, to participate in these programs. We will notify you of the creation and provisions of a discount or coupon program. Within five days after receipt of the notice, you will advise us whether or not you wish to participate in that program. If you notify us that you wish to participate, you will adhere to all provisions of the program. If you elect to be excluded from a program, we will have the right to advise consumers, by advertising, sales solicitation or otherwise, that you are not a participant. You will not be entitled to the benefits of that program. We will establish the discount or coupon programs in our sole discretion, and will not have any obligation to consult or confer with you or any other of our franchisees with respect to the nature, content or amount of any discount or

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Afuri Ramen Dumpling's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor may develop and market special discount or free coupon programs. While franchisees have the right, but not the obligation, to participate in these programs, Afuri Ramen Dumpling will notify franchisees of the creation and provisions of any discount or coupon program.
Within five days of receiving notice about a discount or coupon program, franchisees must inform Afuri Ramen Dumpling whether they wish to participate. Franchisees who choose to participate must adhere to all program provisions. If a franchisee elects not to participate, Afuri Ramen Dumpling has the right to inform consumers through advertising or other means that the franchisee is not participating, and the franchisee will not receive the program's benefits.
Afuri Ramen Dumpling maintains sole discretion in establishing discount or coupon programs and has no obligation to consult with franchisees regarding the nature, content, or amount of any discount or coupon. Furthermore, any discount or coupon programs that a franchisee wants to offer are subject to Afuri Ramen Dumpling's prior written approval, which may be withheld unless otherwise provided by law.
