It has operated a restaurant in Portland, Oregon that is similar to the franchise we offer since 2016, but with a larger restaurant and expanded menu (with sushi, robata charcoal grill, and izakaya-style food and beverages). It provides certain services to us and training services to our franchisees. AFURI BUCKMAN LLC has never offered franchises in this or any other lines of business.

In 1995, AFURI-JPN originated the concept that serves as the basis of our current Afuri bar concept. From 1995 through 2003, AFURI-JPN operated its restaurants in Japan under the name Zundo-Bar. Since 2003, AFURI-JPN has operated its restaurants primarily under the name "Afuri." As of the issuance date of this disclosure document, AFURI-JPN operates company-owned Afuri outlets in Tokyo, Kanagawa and Hokkaido, Japan. It also operates a single Zundo-Bar in Japan, which has a similar menu and concept.
