What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Afuri Ramen Dumpling Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement includes a provision for additional training, the cost of which is a specified dollar amount per month. The monthly fee covers a certain number of training hours provided by a single trainer, although Afuri Ramen Dumpling retains the right to change the trainers during the agreement. This fee is payable in advance on the first day of each calendar month.

In addition to the monthly training fees, franchisees are responsible for covering Afuri Ramen Dumpling's out-of-pocket expenses related to the additional training. These costs include transportation, meals, and lodging for the training personnel. Franchisees may be required to either reimburse these expenses or pay them in advance, as determined by Afuri Ramen Dumpling.

If a franchisee requests more training hours than initially agreed upon, Afuri Ramen Dumpling has the discretion to provide the additional training. If they choose to do so, the franchisee will be responsible for a pro-rata increase in the training fees, as well as covering Afuri Ramen Dumpling's training costs. Prospective franchisees should clarify the typical monthly training fee, the estimated hours of training covered, and the potential for additional costs based on location or specific training needs.
