2.2 Training Costs. In addition to training fees per Section 2.1 above, Franchisee will be responsible for Franchisor's out-of-pocket costs related to the Additional Training, including transportation, meals and lodging for Franchisor's training personnel. Franchisee will reimburse such costs or pay them in advance as Franchisor will determine.
- 2.3 Method of Payment. Franchisee's payment obligations under this Agreement will be made by automatic account withdrawal or other automatic processes or forms of payment that Franchisor specifies, such as check, certified check, money order, credit or debit card, automatic preauthorized payment plan, electronic funds transfer, or payments through the internet, including processes whereby Franchisee authorizes Franchisor to remove the payment directly from Franchisee's bank account.

According to Afuri Ramen Dumpling's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee requests additional training, they are responsible for several costs. Furthermore, Afuri Ramen Dumpling ultimately decides the schedule for additional training, considering the availability of their training personnel and other factors they deem reasonable. The method of payment for these obligations will be determined by Afuri Ramen Dumpling, potentially including automatic account withdrawals, checks, money orders, credit or debit cards, preauthorized payment plans, electronic funds transfers, or online payments.
As a condition for receiving additional on-location training, Afuri Ramen Dumpling may require the franchisee to sign a consent, waiver, and release agreement. This agreement is subject to change, and the current form is attached as Exhibit 6. It is important to note that Afuri Ramen Dumpling and its training personnel are not considered employers or employees of the franchisee or their staff during the training period.
