2.1 Training Fees. Franchisee shall pay Franchisor the training fees described in the attached Appendix B by the due dates described in that appendix.

- 2.2 Training Costs. In addition to training fees per Section 2.1 above, Franchisee will be responsible for Franchisor's out-of-pocket costs related to the Additional Training, including transportation, meals and lodging for Franchisor's training personnel. Franchisee will reimburse such costs or pay them in advance as Franchisor will determine.
- 2.3 Method of Payment. Franchisee's payment obligations under this Agreement will be made by automatic account withdrawal or other automatic processes or forms of payment that Franchisor specifies, such as check, certified check, money order, credit or debit card, automatic preauthorized payment plan, electronic funds transfer, or payments through the internet, including processes whereby Franchisee authorizes Franchisor to remove the payment directly from Franchisee's bank account.
- 2.4 Late Charges. Late payments under this Agreement will be subject to late charges and interest prescribed by the Franchise Agreement. Such charges and interest will not exceed any limits imposed by applicable laws.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Afuri Ramen Dumpling's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee seeking additional training must pay training fees as described in Appendix B of the franchise agreement. The franchisee is also responsible for covering Afuri Ramen Dumpling's out-of-pocket costs related to the additional training, including transportation, meals, and lodging for the training personnel. These costs must be either reimbursed or paid in advance, as determined by Afuri Ramen Dumpling. The franchisor ultimately decides the schedule for additional training based on the availability of their training staff and other factors they deem reasonable.
Payments for training and other obligations under the Franchise Agreement are to be made via automatic account withdrawal or other automatic payment methods specified by Afuri Ramen Dumpling. These methods may include checks, certified checks, money orders, credit or debit cards, preauthorized payment plans, electronic funds transfers, or online payments that allow Afuri Ramen Dumpling to directly withdraw the payment from the franchisee's bank account.
Late payments are subject to late charges and interest as outlined in the Franchise Agreement, but these charges will not exceed any limits imposed by applicable laws. In return for the additional on-location training, the franchisee agrees that Afuri Ramen Dumpling and its training personnel are not considered employers or employees of the franchisee or their staff.
