What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Afuri Ramen Dumpling's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee does not own adequate space for their franchise, they must lease appropriate space. The document specifies that the typical franchise premises for the first location with a commissary kitchen will range from approximately 2,500 to 4,000 square feet. For each additional location serviced by the commissary kitchen, the premises will typically be approximately 1,500 to 2,000 square feet. These locations are typically found in downtown areas, malls, shopping centers, or industrial zones.

For the first Afuri Ramen Dumpling franchise premises with a commissary kitchen, the location will typically be a single story to facilitate ventilation. The FDD does not provide an estimated range for lease acquisition costs due to the wide variation in costs between different locations. These costs can vary significantly based on factors such as square footage, cost per square foot, required maintenance costs, market conditions, and the specific location.

Prospective Afuri Ramen Dumpling franchisees should carefully consider the costs associated with leasing a suitable location, as these costs can significantly impact the overall initial investment. It is advisable to conduct thorough market research and consult with real estate professionals to understand the specific leasing costs in their desired area. Additionally, franchisees should factor in potential maintenance costs and ensure the location meets the ventilation requirements specified by Afuri Ramen Dumpling.
