- 1.2 One Location for Franchise. You will operate the Franchise only at the Franchise Premises. If not determined when this Agreement is executed, you are responsible for selecting the site for the Franchise Premises within the search area ("Search Area") outlined in Exhibit 1 and in accordance with this Agreement.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Afuri Ramen Dumpling's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the search area for the franchise premises is outlined in Exhibit 1. The franchisee is responsible for selecting the site within this outlined search area, provided it aligns with the Franchise Agreement.
Before opening each franchise, Afuri Ramen Dumpling will designate a Franchise Territory for each franchise premises. The Franchise Territory and Franchise Premises must be in the United States of America, legally available pursuant to state and federal franchise and business opportunity disclosure and registration laws and contractual commitments, including those with other franchisees, and in compliance with franchise placement, market development, and demographic criteria.
If the Franchise Premises is located in a co-branded location, the exact basis and calculation of Revenue will follow the requirements and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual. The Operations Manual may contain additional information about co-branded locations.
