What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Afuri Ramen Dumpling's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for covering the out-of-pocket costs associated with additional training. These costs specifically include transportation, meals, and lodging for Afuri Ramen Dumpling's training personnel.
The franchisee is obligated to either reimburse Afuri Ramen Dumpling for these expenses or pay them in advance, as determined by the franchisor. This means that franchisees need to budget not only for the training fees themselves, but also for the travel-related expenses incurred by the franchisor's staff during the training period.
This requirement is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as it ensures that the franchisor is not financially burdened by the costs of providing additional training support. Prospective Afuri Ramen Dumpling franchisees should factor these expenses into their financial projections and discuss the estimated amounts with the franchisor to avoid any unexpected costs.
