What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Afuri Ramen Dumpling Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for specific costs associated with additional training. In addition to training fees, the franchisee must cover the franchisor's out-of-pocket expenses for additional training. These expenses include transportation, meals, and lodging for the franchisor's training personnel.

The franchisee is required to either reimburse these costs or pay them in advance, as determined by Afuri Ramen Dumpling. Payments for these obligations must be made through automatic account withdrawal or other specified automatic payment methods, such as checks, money orders, credit or debit cards, preauthorized payment plans, electronic funds transfers, or online payments.

Late payments are subject to late charges and interest as outlined in the Franchise Agreement, but these charges will not exceed legal limits. This means that beyond the initial training included in the franchise fee, franchisees should budget for ongoing training expenses and ensure timely payments to avoid penalties.
