What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Aerus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Aerus or one of its affiliates will sublease the premises or assign the Premises Lease of an Approved Location to a franchisee if the franchisee is purchasing an existing Aerus business.

For prospective franchisees, this means that if you are taking over an already established Aerus location, Aerus, or one of its affiliates, will handle the transfer of the property lease to you. This simplifies the process of acquiring an existing business, as you won't have to negotiate a new lease independently.

However, if you are opening a new Aerus location, you are responsible for obtaining a retail space, either through purchase or lease, that meets Aerus's approval. Aerus will provide assistance in finding a location, considering factors like size (approximately 1,500 to 2,000 square feet), location, and visibility. If Aerus does not approve the proposed site, they have the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement.
