You will use your computer and related software for a variety of functions to help you manage your business. The most significant functions include communications (sending/receiving e-mails, Intranet), inventory control (receiving, ordering, tracking) and sales reporting (contract entry, sales tax calculation, reporting).
We currently have certain access to the information entered into and compiled by your computer system. In the future, we may expand our requirements for the information you must maintain on your system with the software we provide or with software we require you to obtain. We reserve the right to require all information concerning your Franchised Business to be kept and maintained on a computer to which we have full access. We further reserve the right to access, review, evaluate and incorporate into our own systems all such information. There is no contractual limitation on our right to access and use this information.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aerus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees will use their computer and related software for several key functions to manage their business. These include communications, such as sending and receiving emails and accessing the Intranet, inventory control for receiving, ordering, and tracking products, and sales reporting, which involves contract entry, sales tax calculation, and generating reports.
Aerus, or its affiliate, will install standard software at the franchisee's location, including financial and accounting software, a customer database, and lead management software. Franchisees are required to have a PC running Windows 10 or better, a high-speed internet connection, a multifunction printer/scanner/fax, and an optional bar code scanner to properly operate the software. The estimated cost for purchasing the required computer system, hardware, and software ranges from $1,200 to $2,200.
Aerus also has the right to access information entered into the franchisee's computer system. The company may expand its requirements for the information franchisees must maintain and reserves the right to require all business information to be kept on a computer with full access for Aerus. This includes the right to access, review, evaluate, and incorporate the information into their own systems without any contractual limitations.
