s, this obligation may be discharged through a contractual arrangement with an existing Aerus Business.
You are required to fulfill or cause to be fulfilled any and all promises and commitments made to Approved Customers by you, and any of your sales representatives, employees, agents, and under the Standard Program, your Outlet Licensees.
You must receive and investigate all complaints from consumer end-users of the Products sold by or through you or who otherwise appear personally at an Approved Location (or otherwise contact the Franchised Business) for assistance and make good faith efforts to resolve all such complaints in a fair and equitable manner to the consumer end-users' satisfaction.
You must promptly report to us any attempted improper sales or purchases of the Products, including sales by you or any of your sales representatives, employees or agents (or under the Standard Program, your Outlet Licensees) to any consumer who is not an Approved Customer or who does not reside within your Area of Responsibility.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aerus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must fulfill all promises and commitments made to Approved Customers. This obligation extends to promises made not only by the franchisee but also by their sales representatives, employees, agents, and, under the Standard Program, their Outlet Licensees. This means Aerus franchisees are responsible for ensuring that all representations made to customers are honored.
In addition to fulfilling promises, Aerus franchisees are expected to provide prompt and workmanlike care and service to Approved Customers. This includes service under any Franchisor Consumer Warranty for customers who purchased products directly from the franchisee or indirectly through their sales representatives or Outlet Licensees. This service extends to all owners of Aerus products residing within the franchisee's Area of Responsibility or who contact the franchised business at the Approved Location. Franchisees must also service other products designated by Aerus, regardless of where those products were initially purchased.
Furthermore, Aerus franchisees are required to receive and investigate all complaints from consumer end-users of the products sold by or through them or who otherwise contact the franchised business for assistance. Franchisees must make good faith efforts to resolve these complaints in a fair and equitable manner to the consumer end-users' satisfaction. This indicates that Aerus places a strong emphasis on customer service and satisfaction, requiring franchisees to actively address and resolve customer issues.
