What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Aerus Franchise Disclosure Document, all franchisees are required to attend one week of on-the-job training. This training is conducted at an Aerus Business location. If a franchisee signs a Beyond Addendum, they must also attend an additional week of on-the-job Beyond Product training, which also takes place at an Aerus Business.
The FDD also provides a table outlining the hours of training for various subjects. The on-the-job training location is listed as 'Aerus Business we designate' for several subjects, including Administration, Accounting, Inventory Control and FOAS, Sales and Service Personnel Development, Marketing, Advertising and Database Management, Standard Product Training, and Beyond Products and Service. The hours of on-the-job training vary by subject, ranging from 1 to 40 hours.
This means that new Aerus franchisees will receive practical, hands-on experience at an existing Aerus Business location as part of their initial training. The specific Aerus Business location will be designated by Aerus. The length and focus of the on-the-job training will depend on whether the franchisee signs a Beyond Addendum, with those franchisees receiving additional training focused on Beyond Products.
