What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aerus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must achieve a minimum gross sales amount to be eligible for franchise renewal. To renew their Aerus franchise for one additional term, a franchisee must achieve $10,000 or more in Gross Sales each month during the six months prior to the expiration of the initial term.
In addition to meeting the minimum gross sales requirements, the franchisee must also fulfill other conditions to be eligible for renewal. These conditions include not having any uncured events of default under the agreement at the time of renewal, providing written notice of their desire to renew at least thirty days before the end of the initial term, executing Aerus's then-current form of franchise agreement, and paying a renewal fee of $100. Franchisees must also execute a general release of claims against Aerus.
The new franchise agreement that a franchisee must execute may differ from the original agreement, potentially including higher or additional fees and revised minimum sales requirements. This means that while the current minimum is $10,000, this could change at the time of renewal. Therefore, it is important for prospective franchisees to consider these factors and potential changes when evaluating the franchise opportunity and planning for the future of their business with Aerus.
Meeting the minimum sales requirements is a critical aspect of maintaining the franchise and securing its renewal. Franchisees should focus on strategies to consistently achieve and exceed this sales target to ensure their eligibility for renewal and the continued operation of their Aerus business.
