What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aerus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all franchisees must attend one week of on-the-job training at an Aerus Business. If a franchisee signs a Beyond Addendum, they must also attend an additional week of on-the-job Beyond Product training, also conducted at an Aerus Business. This on-the-job training is in addition to the four-day Management and Business Administration (MBA) training program.
The FDD also provides a table that breaks down the hours of training by subject. For franchisees who do not sign a Beyond Addendum, there are 40 hours of on-the-job training. For those who do sign the Beyond Addendum, there are 80 hours of on-the-job training.
Prospective franchisees should consider the time commitment for training, as well as any travel, lodging, meals, and wage expenses associated with it. The on-the-job training component requires spending time at an existing Aerus Business, which could be located some distance from the franchisee's intended location. The additional week of training for those signing the Beyond Addendum represents a significant increase in the initial training period.
