Outlet Licensees will be solely and exclusively the responsibility of you for all purposes, including without limitation, all training and support. We will have no legal obligation whatsoever to or for the benefit of any Outlet Licensees; however, we will be a beneficiary of any of your rights under all agreements existing between you and any Outlet Licensees and may enforce such rights.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aerus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Aerus has no legal obligation to or for the benefit of any Outlet Licensees. However, Aerus is a beneficiary of the franchisee's rights under all agreements between the franchisee and its Outlet Licensees and may enforce such rights.
This means that while Aerus does not directly support or have legal responsibilities towards the Outlet Licensees, they retain the right to ensure that the agreements between the franchisee and the Outlet Licensees are upheld. The franchisee is solely responsible for all training and support of their Outlet Licensees.
This arrangement is not uncommon in franchising, where the franchisor focuses on the relationship with the franchisee, and the franchisee manages their own sub-units or employees. However, it's crucial for a prospective Aerus franchisee to understand that they bear the full responsibility for the success and compliance of their Outlet Licensees, without direct support or intervention from Aerus.
