What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aerus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Aerus franchisees are required to submit all advertising and promotional materials for approval before use. Aerus will then notify the franchisee of their decision within 15 days of receipt. Franchisees must always advertise as designated by Aerus in the manuals or in writing, using approved formats.
Aerus may also communicate updates and other confidential information through an Intranet, if they choose to establish one. Franchisees must strictly comply with the policies and procedures that Aerus establishes for the Intranet. Aerus retains full control over the Intranet's content and functionality and can access any communication posted on it.
Given these stipulations, if Aerus were to change its policy on celebrity endorsements or any other advertising-related matter, franchisees would likely be informed through updates to the manuals, direct written communication, or announcements via the Intranet, if available. Franchisees would then need to ensure all advertising materials comply with the new policy and receive approval before use. This system allows Aerus to maintain brand consistency and control over its public image.
