What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aerus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees who sign a Beyond Addendum gain the limited right to offer and sell Beyond Products to Approved Customers within their Area of Responsibility. This is in contrast to franchisees who do not sign the addendum, as they are explicitly prohibited from offering or selling Beyond Products. The Area of Responsibility for an Aerus franchise is not a set distance and varies depending on the program the franchisee chooses and the demographic and geographic nature of their location. Aerus franchisees do not receive an exclusive territory.
This addendum provides an opportunity for franchisees to expand their product offerings and potentially increase revenue by tapping into the market for Beyond Products. However, it's crucial for prospective franchisees to understand the specifics of the Beyond Products, the target market, and the potential costs and benefits associated with offering these products.
It is important to note that Aerus and its affiliates retain the right to introduce new products and services and may require franchisees to execute additional agreements or pay additional fees or royalties in connection with these new offerings. Therefore, franchisees should carefully consider the terms of the Beyond Addendum and any related agreements before signing to ensure they understand their obligations and the potential impact on their business.
