What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aerus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must actively and diligently use the Customer Data provided by Aerus. This data, along with any information, data, or relationship management software, is to be used to service and support existing customers, develop leads for potential customers and sales representative recruits, and to promptly and accurately record information about all past and future sales, leads, and customers. This information is to be recorded in the Customer Data system.
This requirement ensures that Aerus franchisees are actively engaged in managing and leveraging customer information to grow their business and maintain strong customer relationships. By using the Customer Data effectively, franchisees can identify new sales opportunities, improve customer service, and build a strong base of repeat customers. The use of Customer Data also helps Aerus maintain a consistent brand experience across all franchise locations.
Failure to comply with these requirements could result in a breach of the Franchise Agreement, potentially leading to penalties or termination. Therefore, it is crucial for prospective franchisees to understand the importance of Customer Data management and to allocate sufficient resources to effectively utilize the provided tools and systems. This also includes training sales representatives to properly record and manage customer information.
In addition to actively using the data, Aerus franchisees are prohibited from using the Customer Data for any reason other than the operation of the Franchised Business. This restriction is in place to protect the confidentiality and proprietary nature of the Customer Data, preventing franchisees from using it for personal gain or to benefit competing businesses. This obligation extends throughout the term of the Franchise Agreement.
