What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aerus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Franchised Business' refers to the specific Aerus business that the franchisee will operate. Aerus grants licenses to third parties to operate under either the Standard Program or the Associate Program, both of which involve offering and selling specific products, utilizing particular marks, and employing elements of the Aerus system.
The Aerus system includes various components such as brand identification, distinctive design, proprietary products, operational standards, and automated administrative systems. These elements are detailed in the Aerus manuals, which the franchisor may modify over time. The franchisee is required to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in the Franchise Agreement and must also comply with the standards and directives provided in the manuals.
As an Aerus franchisee, you will be offering and selling products designated by Aerus under the chosen franchise program. A significant portion of sales will be conducted through in-person marketing and product demonstrations, and you will also maintain a storefront at an approved location for retail sales, product demonstrations, and customer service. The franchisee will also have a protected area and an area of responsibility, as detailed in Items 12 and 16 of the FDD.
