What This Means (2023 FDD)
According to Advanced Mobile Iv And Amiv's 2023 Franchise Disclosure Document, all fees and amounts paid to Advanced Mobile Iv And Amiv and its affiliate are generally nonrefundable. Specifically, the initial franchise fee is non-refundable. The initial franchise fee is based on a tiered system that depends on the population of the approved franchise territory. The tiers range from $35,000 for a population size of up to 150,000 persons to $85,000 for a population size of 450,000 to 600,000 persons.
If a franchisee does not pass the mandatory training course to Advanced Mobile Iv And Amiv's satisfaction, the Franchise Agreement may be terminated without refunding the initial franchise fee or any other amounts paid to Advanced Mobile Iv And Amiv, its affiliate, or others for training or travel reimbursement. Similarly, if the franchisee does not open the franchise within the earlier of 180 days after the date of the Franchise Agreement or 60 days after successful completion of the initial training program, Advanced Mobile Iv And Amiv may elect to terminate the Franchise Agreement without refunding any of the initial franchise fee or other amounts paid to them or their affiliate.
While amounts paid to Advanced Mobile Iv And Amiv and its affiliate are nonrefundable, amounts paid to third-party vendors for travel may be refundable, depending on the contracts or arrangements between the franchisee and those third parties. This is a common practice in franchising, where fees paid directly to the franchisor are typically non-refundable to cover their initial costs and investments in setting up the franchise. Franchisees should carefully review all agreements and understand the conditions under which fees are paid and whether any portion might be refundable under specific circumstances.
