What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee cannot relocate their store without prior written consent from 7 Brew, which 7 Brew may grant or deny at their discretion. 7 Brew may place certain conditions on relocation approval.
These conditions include the new site being acceptable to 7 Brew. The franchisee must pay a $5,000 relocation fee and reimburse 7 Brew for any costs incurred during the relocation process. The franchisee must also confirm that the existing franchise agreement remains in effect for the new location without any changes to the term.
Additionally, the franchisee must sign a general release of all claims against 7 Brew and its affiliates. The franchisee must continue operating the store at its original site until 7 Brew authorizes its closure. Finally, the franchisee must take action to de-brand and de-identify the former premises so it is no longer associated with the 7 Brew franchise system.
