Answer from 2025 FDD Document

If your Store managers fail to complete Initial Training to our satisfaction, or we determine after an inspection that retraining is necessary because the Store is not operating according to Brand Standards, we may offer a retraining session. You are responsible for all employee

compensation and TRE during retraining. The Store may commence and continue operation only if there are at least two fully-trained certified managers on staff who attend to be at the Store.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, retraining sessions may be required under specific circumstances. If a 7 Brew store's managers fail to complete the initial training program to 7 Brew's satisfaction, the franchisee may be required to attend a retraining session. Additionally, if, after an inspection, 7 Brew determines that retraining is necessary because the store is not operating according to the established brand standards, retraining may be mandated.

It's important to note that the franchisee is responsible for covering all employee compensation and travel-related expenses (TRE) during any retraining period. The 7 Brew store can only commence or continue operations if there are at least two fully-trained and certified managers on staff who are present at the store. This highlights the importance of ensuring that managers are adequately trained and that the store consistently adheres to 7 Brew's brand standards to avoid the additional costs and potential operational disruptions associated with retraining.

This requirement is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as franchisors need to ensure consistent quality and brand representation across all locations. The cost of retraining, however, is a factor prospective franchisees should carefully consider in their financial planning. Maintaining compliance with brand standards is crucial not only for avoiding retraining but also for upholding the reputation of the 7 Brew brand and ensuring customer satisfaction.
